Hosted By

Independent Dance Management Network (IDMN)

IDMN is an independent group of managers, producer, promoters, programmers, consultants and agents working across he subsidised and commercial dance sectors in the UK. Established in 2002, we are a member-run network that works to develop the sector by networking, lobbying, information-sharing, advocacy and providing training.  We are committed to supporting the development of dance in all its forms through the principles of good management and encouraging best practice.

IDMN TRAINING AND EVENTS

At the heart of IDMN is the professional development of both our membership and wider sector to ensure a strong and effective workforce for the benefit of dance.

Our TRAINING PROGRAMME of one-day intensive workshops is open to members and non-members and is suitable for artists as well as managers and producers.

"IDMN has enabled me access to high quality and range of relevant  training at an affordable price as for the most part I cannot afford the majority of training on offer by other organisations, as we have no core funding leaving me feeling marginalised.

As a freelance Artistic Director of a small Charity I undertake a demanding array of roles. The range of training courses from IDMN enables me to tap into training, where I feel I need more knowledge. These opportunities also offer invaluable opportunities to network and feel that the issues we are currently dealing with and facing are also shared by others in the industry."
